If the 14-second deconstruction of Kimbo was not enough to jeopardize EliteXC’s future, controversy has grown over whether or not Seth’s comments about “keeping the fight standing” means that Elite XC officials fixed the fight. As CBS stands back and watches this unfold we though it would be wise to go ahead and give you guys a heads up on who we think CBS will cast for their Sunday night movie special: Kimbo-Gate. You can thank us later.

Mr.Kielington - I immediately looked to Megatron for this role, with all that metal he might as well be a transformer. Too bad, CBS prolly won’t want to pay for all the CGI.

KChuck-I think this is a perfect person to play the role of Shamrock. Why no role for big brother Ken Shamrock? Well since he kinda fucked everything up in the first place, and due to the time constraints for the movie, they decided not to even cast him in a role. Lucky for CBS they won’t have to pay Stiller that much, he’s only got like 3 lines….

Mr.Kielington - This is perfect in so many ways. Now that Kimbos hype is all but diminished he will now be forced to go back to the porn industry appearing in MilfHunter and other videos. Shit, in that outfit he might just be good enough for Pirates III.

KChuck- I originally campaigned for Paris Hilton in this role… My thought was that we needed someone who wouldn’t mind dropping quick to their knees when the camera started rolling.

Okay, We get it.  Professionalism has never been the main draw of MMA.  But at least it has come a long way from the days of being criticized as a glorified “cockfight” (Thanks Maverick).  That was until all these criticisms came rushing back into the public arena Saturday night when EliteXC Vice President Jared Shaw had a ringside hissy-fit, resurfacing the laundry list of complaints against MMA.

For starters, since when have promoters become soccer moms?  Jared Shaw looked like a mini-van driving soccer mom when he yelled at ref Troy Waugh on Saturday night as his cash cow, Bob Sapp wannabe, Kimbo Slice got rocked by a few off-balance punches from a “Is he gay-or-Isn’t he gay” fighter named Seth Petruzelli (he’s not gay).

In an attempt to look like less of a bitch, Shaw spoke with MMA Rated and gave us this beautiful nugget:

I apologize to the MMA community and the fans and most of all Seth Petruzelli as although my reactions cannot change a referee’s decision, they were inappropriate at the time and over a heated and tense mixed martial arts event.

Although he is not the model of a perfect MMA exec, when is the last time you saw Dana White having a ringside meltdown? Never.  While Shaw’s antics were inexcusable, it is important to remember that he is a minority in the MMA community.  Because the MMA community I know is not made up of a bunch of soccer moms…
