“March Badness” is over and in the record books.  You can officially cross MMA venture off of Roy Jones to do list.  Was it a success?  I’m not quiet sure. The feedback I’ve gathered from the Internet bloggers, and live chats going on during the fight let me know that there is still a pretty big divide between the common boxing fan and common mma fan, the overall opinion of the night seemed to be disappointment.  The MMA portion of the card clearly lacked luster. The ever so hyped Bobby Lashley flunked out and won an unimpressive unanimous decision over journeyman Jason Guida whose record now stands at 17-20, and has people questioning Lashley’s ability to hang in this sport.  Jeff Monson snuck away with a unanimous decision over Roy Nelson, and had some crying highway robbery. The main event of the night was an incredible mismatch of opponents, as Roy Jones, earned a TKO over Omar Sheika, before Sheika, was even stopped.  All this for the incredibly low price of 29.99… (did you catch the sarcasm) definitely not worth paying for if you ask me.  The full results of the card are below, with the video of Bobby Lashley’s lay and pray, and Roy Nelsons robbery included.

Jeff Monson def. Roy Nelson via unanimous decision (29-28 x 3)
