Should We Give Kimbo a Break? Just This Once.

We admit it, We have done our fair share of Kimbo Slice bashing (Example 1, Example 2, Example 3). But maybe once, just once, we’re thinking maybe we should try and give the Bearded-Marauder a break…
Kimbo is not 'The Greatest' but maybe he'll find better luck in Boxing.
Kimbo went on a Miami Sports Radio show this week discussing possible career options and mentioned that the sweet science (boxing) might be a possibility for him in the future. As you would imagine Mr. Slice has already caught some heat from fight pundits (and understandably so) over this announcement, but we’re thinking if ‘Ferg’ wants to look for other ways to make a buck, more power to him. We’re just glad that Kimbo has a spine and can stand up to the flack he has been receiving, discussing the trash that’s talked about him Kimbo said:
It comes with the territory. It’s like I said from the beginning. I’m a fighter and that’s what I’ll continue to do and I’ll give it 110 percent. If a guy catches me with a good one, that’s cool
Props to Kimbo for standing strong throughout all of this, because when it comes down to it we’re all just bunch of squirrel’s trying to get our nut, and Kimbo’s just looking for his nut too. Was he overpaid in every one of his professional fights? Absolutely. Was he over-hyped and over-played? Absolutely. Did he get knocked out by a weak-sauce punch? Absolutely. But does that mean we are obligated to bust his balls at every turn? Abso… I mean no.
