It has been said that there are 1,001 uses for Duct tape.  While this may be true, there must be atleast 1,002 uses for Bacon.

Bacon, glorious bacon.  The Dojo is always looking out for the latest and greatest uses for bacon (Example 1, Example 2) and this is yet another clever way to consume some pork.  So, go grab yourself some salted-cheesed meat and enjoy yourself: just be careful not to eat too much or you’ll end up looking like this guy.

It’s simple math, really.

What’s the only way to make meat taste better? Filling it with other types of meat.

In anticipation of the most gluttonous holiday, White Castle has released a recipe that’s sure to tickle most tastebuds.  The White Castle Stuffed Turkey.  While most of you may be skeptical of quite a glorious dish, rest assured that the White Castle Turkey Stuffing is not some gimmicky new marketing scheme but a turkey stuffing recipe that is time tested.  Essentially, the recipe calls for Ten torn White Castle Slyders (no pickles), chicken broth, celery, and a few spices that are mixed together and then stuffed inside of your bird. Awesome. We’re certain this is the same recipe used at the First Thanksgiving.

White Castle Turkey Stuffing

Ingredients

10 White Castle hamburgers, no pickles
1 1/2 cups celery, diced
1 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
1 1/2 tsp. ground sage
3/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
1/4 cup chicken broth

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, tear the burgers into pieces and add diced celery and seasonings. Toss and add chicken broth. Toss well. Stuff cavity of turkey just before roasting. Makes about 9 cups (enough for a 10- to 12-pound turkey). Note: Allow 1 hamburger for each pound of turkey, which will be the equivalent of 3/4 cup of stuffing per pound.

 

 

McRib in a Hand Towel

Oh, what a joyous time of the year it is when the Mc Rib makes it semi yearly migration back to local McDonald’s restaurants. I was driving home and was going to get some healthy chicken tacos at another restaurant when i saw a sign at McDonalds that said “It’s Back.. The McRib.” I came to a skreetching halt and pulled in. McRibs, for those of you that don’t know, are available for a limited time so you need to have them with the thought that each sweet and savory McRib may be your last. It is a cultural phenomenon known to people of many languages and has been mentioned on tons of TV shows including The Simpsons who devoted 1/2 of a show to its spoof sandwich known as Krusty Burger’s Ribwich. The McRib has a HUGE following. Tshirts, songs, ringtones, and websites galore glorify this sandwich.
